About
The former site of a popular ice skating rink, Willow Pond Meadow is now home to buzzing bees and seventeen species of native wildflowers, thanks to a years-long restoration effort between the Conservancy and the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation. The restoration, including several years of mowing, invasive plant removal and wildflower seeding, provides new and valuable habitat for bees and other pollinators that help sustain our environment.
